The resort is located equidistant from the Costa Rican capital of San Jose and the Pacific Coast beaches, specifically, less than an hour from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, 1-hour’s drive from San Jose, and also a 1 hour drive to the popular beach town of Playa Jaco, with access to Costa Rica’s brand new highway, as well as an alternate scenic route featuring some of the country’s most beautiful mountain vistas.

Set among 7.5 acres of fruit trees and endless forested valley views, the resort is both secluded and conveniently accessible 2 km from the small, rural and traditional town of San Pablo de Turrubares and relatively close to the larger town of Puriscal where you will find all necessary shops and services, including banks, hospital, markets, mechanics, retail shopping and more. This rural mountain location offers a unique, traditional Costa Rican experience away from the hubbub of the city or overcrowded touristy zones.

Nearby attractions include a traditional small Costa Rican town, where guests can experience the one-of-a-kind Costa Rican culture and way of life, as yet undisturbed by tourism and foreign companies (unfortunately, this is not the case elsewhere in the country). In addition, there are beautiful hiking trails, horseback riding tours and gorgeous private waterfalls and rivers nearby to enjoy the jungle wildlife first-hand. Plus, owners and guests can experience exceptional tours to Turubari Park for ziplining, horseback riding and nature tours (20 min from the resort) and a beautiful secluded waterfall (Verde Malaquita) 10 min by car. Plus, Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Jaco Beach, Carara National Park, Tortuga Island Calypso Cruise, the museums and markets of San Jose, and all less than 1.5 hours drive from the resort. In addition to its secluded yet convenient location, the property is bordered by two stretches of land on either side, of which one is currently for sale and the other will be shortly, providing stable prospects for expansion should you so choose.
